TUNISIA - 29 June 2008 : Police harassment of human rights defenders Anouar Kousri and Samir Dilou. Anouar Kousri is a board member of the Ligue tunisienne des droits de l'Homme – LTDH (Tunisian Human Rights League) and Samir Dilou is a board member of the Association internationale de soutien aux prisonniers politiques en Tunisie – AISPP (International Association for the Support of Political Prisoners).
SOUTH KOREA- 26 June 2008 : Police assault Lee Joon-Hyung a lawyer providing legal advice during protests.
MALAYSIA - 25 June 2008 - Delay in proceedings in the case of human rights defender and lawyer, Uthayakumar Ponnusamy , who continues to be deprived of his required prescription medication for diabetes.

ALGERIA - 13 April 2008 : Amine Sidhoum Abderramane, a lawyer and member of the NGO SOS Disappeared (SOS Disparu(e)s), condamned to a conditionnal 6 months jail sentence and a fine of 20 000 dinars the Court of Sidi M’Hamed
