JAMAICA -8 August 2001 - FEAR FOR SAFETY : O. HILAIRE SOBERS, human rights activist, journalist, lawyer .

PERU - Fear for safety :Gina REQUEJO, Defence lawyer of the family of Jenard Lee Rivera San Roque, who died in police custody on 9 May

TUNISIA - January 23 : After an unfair trial, Nejib Hosni, jailed since December 21, has to serve five years and six months prison sentence

IRAN - January 13 : Mehrangiz Kar sentenced to four years prison by a Tehran Revolutionary Court.
