At night
about1.45 police has raided a house situated in Youhanabad colonel Lahore
for the arrest of Parvez Aslam
Choudhry Advocate. Police said
that section 144 is imposed in Punjab and Parvez Aslam Choudhry is
required to the police for arrest because he is very active in bar for
long March on 16-03-09 in Islambad.
That time
Parvez was not at home and has disappear himself out of the house for this
reason.
Parvez Aslam
Choudhry remains action in bar as well as being human rights defenders in
Punjab. Often police have grudge with him being defending blasphemy
victims .
Extremists
and fundamentalists always against him and want to kill him. Present
situation in Pakistan is very crucial in this regard.
You are
requested to campaign for all human rights activists and lawyers life
safety and security in Pakistan. You are especially requested to put
pressure on Pakistan government for life security especially Parvez who
is not remain physically fit after his car crashing by fundamentalist on
11 May 2006.
